Following that was a glass of oj, and three (3) fish oil tablets with another glucosamine one. I'm doing this twice a day, in an effort to strengthen my suffering knees. That, and lots of stretching and physio.
Then there were some nuts for morning tea...
and home-made sushi for lunch! One was avocado, the other had low-fat sundried tomatoes and low-fat philly (the plate on the left was mine). Followed by some chilli chocolate...
and a glass of wine in the evening to get me through kiddie-processing time. Then a satay veggie burger with grilled cheese, tomato and basil, and homemade kumara (sweet potato chips) and some of my mother's day chocolate (lindt balls - orange and coffee). hard to stop at 2!
Today was a "rest day" from exercise. I did 40 min walk with Jamie in the pram and another mother from auskick, very moderate pace through Sandy Bay, and then a short orienteering course with the kids (1.2km, 35 mins), but neither was really taxing. Which is good. cos rest days are beneficial. I have them about every 5-6 days.

Yum, looks good!
I love your definition of a rest day though - for me a 40min walk and a 1.2km orienteering run etc would have been considered exercise (although not taxing) as oposed to rest.
well, it wasn't really strenuous...
